Did you fly with Pilot Life and the track log for your flight is not correct? Bad GPS data may show your track log as a straight line between the departure and arrival airports, a short jagged line where you started and stopped your flight or no track log at all.
Unfortunately, many factors can contribute to bad GPS data. However, you can follow these simple GPS suggestions to get you logging your flights like a pro.
GPS Troubleshooting
Make sure your device has a clear view of the sky, and move to an open area. Avoid areas with weak signals such as your hangar, FBO, or flight school

Pilot Life Best Practices
After completing the GPS troubleshooting, follow these simple suggestions when flying with Pilot Life:
Tap Fly Now to load the flight map and wait for the airplane icon to show your current location and auto-select your nearest airport
Once you start your flight, keep Pilot Life open and in the foreground
Keep your device as unobstructed as possible instead of buried deep in your pocket or your aircraft pocket
