Your Android device can be optimized to reduce issues when using Pilot Life while flying, specifically GPS accuracy.
NOTE: Make sure that your device has a clear view of the sky when using Pilot Life for best results.
Please follow these steps to optimize your device for Pilot Life:
Turn your device off and back on
Turn Location off and back on
For Android 12 & above:
Tap and hold on the Pilot Life app icon and tap on App info
Tap on Battery and select Unrestricted
Tap back
Tap Location and select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app
Toggle Use precise location to ON
For Android 11 & below:
Tap and hold the Pilot Life app icon and tap on App info
Tap on Battery and select Optimize Battery Usage
Select All from the dropdown menu
Toggle Pilot Life to OFF
Tap back
Tap Location and select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app
Toggle Use precise location to ON
